Microsoft releases a new programming language called Visual F#…

Previously in 2003 Microsoft released Visual J# with Visual Studio.NET 2003 and continued the language with another release with Visual Studio 2005…

Now this year Microsoft released another language called Visual F# which I found by reading wikipedia as a language related to ML and Standard ML…

I downloaded Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate using Usenet Servers…I took a trail and evaluation period account and paid 1 USD to Binverse ( www.binverse.com ) through PayPal to access Usenet …I only wanted to download Visual Studio 2010…

Microsoft released Visual Studio 2010 on 12 April this year!!!

My question is what will be the developer response to Visual F# ?… From a developers point of view, it might not be successful !… Visual J# is no longer included with Visual Studio…Visual C# and Visual Basic is very successful…On the other hand regarding Visual  C++ , the majority of developers still use native C++ with Microsoft Foundation Classes ( MFC ) and C++/CLR or the .NET version of C++ haven’t been adopted that much as Microsoft had anticipated…

Time will tell if Visual F# is successful…We really have to wait for the next few months and see what happens!!!
