Audacity is a free and open source Digital Audio Workstation ( DWA ) , Wave Editor, Encoder ( mp3 and several other file formats ) and I have been using this powerful software since 2013 and found it excellent and useful...I just now donated 1 USD for Audacity... :) ... Audacity is free and open source audio editor / recorder...I am using the current version in these screen shots to record Linkin Park's single "Invisible" released some hours ago in YouTube...I did a little bit of editing to remove a gap and amplify the wave form a bit...You can download Audacity from http://www.audacityteam.org and to export to mp3 you have to install the Lame Encoder from http://lame.buanzo.org .... hehehe...
