Questionnaire from IRS...Fourth Personal Letter

On Sunday 19 August 2018 IRS (Internal Revenue Service of the U.S. government) communicated with me again with their fourth personal letter addressed to me...It was a questionnaire from IRS to be filled by me and mailed to the instructed address of IRS.

I filled the form and wrote on the blank paper which has my address printed on it...I than took a photocopy of the two papers and laminated them to keep in my personal records...I mailed the envelope to IRS on Sunday 2 September 2018 by EMS (Express Mail Service) through Maldives Post and on Wednesday 12 September 2018 at 10:53AM in United States of America local time, it was delivered to IRS by USPS® (United States Postal Service®) and it costed 508 MVR.

Third personal letter from IRS

A little while ago I received my third personal letter from Internal Revenue Service(IRS).They have communicated with me again.

Today is Wednesday 8 August 2018, exactly five months since I posted my ITIN application W-7 form on Sunday 8 April 2018 via EMS through Maldives Post.This letter also came from Royal Mail (priority) and through Britain.The first letter by IRS was sent through Netherlands.In all the three letters it has been written I think a sort of warning that if somebody else opens the letter he/she would fined 300 US $.

It's the same W-7 Form ITIN application rejected notice.I have taken a break for a while to start to open a bank account in a U.S. bank. But I think I will wait for a few more weeks or months before starting over.

How the Internal Revenue Service of the United States communicated with me with their letters

I have genuine reasons to open an online checking bank account in a bank of the United States of America because firstly I have invested by buying shares of technology companies traded at the NASDAQ® stock exchange and more recently I have written my own book "Military Computer Alert" using CreateSpace® of Amazon®.

While I was researching and reading online websites of how to open a bank account remotely in a U.S. bank, I came across the Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) which is issued by the Internal Revenue Service, a U.S. federal government office which comes under the Department of Treasury. Having an ITIN will be very useful in opening a bank account in a U.S. bank.

So on Sunday 8 April 2018 I filled the W-7 form and submitted my passport in an A4 sized envelope to the EMS(Express Mail Service) counter at Maldives Post. I was issued a tracking number but I was surprised when the tracking number was instantly entered into the tracking system of the United States Postal Service® (USPS®) which is another U.S. federal government agency.

I kept calling IRS's international telephone number since I submitted the W-7 form after when it was delivered to IRS on Thursday 26 April 2018.

My application to obtain an ITIN was rejected on 1 June 2018 and the reason was ITIN is for only U.S. tax reporting purposes.

On Saturday 7 July 2018 I received my original passport back by Priority Mail. 7 July 2015 ( which was Ramallan 2015 ) was the day Maldives Immigration issued my passport and it's written that my passport will expire on 7 July 2020. It was exactly to be 3 years I was issued my passport when I received the first letter from IRS returning my passport to me. The following day Sunday 8 July 2018 will be exactly four months since I had posted my application. This not a mere coincidence. It was deliberately done by the IRS which shows that the U.S. shipping and communications system is very efficient.

After a week, on Sunday 15 July 2018 I received another letter from IRS telling me that my ITIN application was rejected. That letter also came to me through Priority Mail. It was exactly four months and one week since I had posted my ITIN application to IRS.

Actually IRS mails the shipping through standard post most of the time, and it will be a month for the mail to be received, but they had made me an exception. Thank you IRS. I received both my postal mails through Priority Mail.

I received both letters personally by myself. On both occasions and instances of communication, the letters were put down on the doorway of my home and when I descended downstairs to have a smoke, I picked up the mails.

Second personal letter from IRS

Today I received my second personal letter from IRS...They have communicated with me again.

My application to obtain ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) was rejected and the reason was, ITIN application is for U.S. federal tax reporting purposes only.

I will now start over again to open a checking bank account remotely in a U.S. bank.

I immediately laminated the letter to keep in my personal records for future reference.

My case file has been opened in the IRS systems and when I am finally able to open a bank account remotely in a U.S. bank, I will start to build a credit history in the USA.

I have invested in several U.S. companies traded at the NASDAQ stock exchange using my broker DriveWealth LLC, and in Ramallan 2018, this year I have self- published my own book in Amazon. These are the main reasons I am trying to open an online checking account in U.S. bank for personal use.

Personal letter from IRS

What a wonderful and delightful surprise...I received my very first letter from Internal Revenue Service.

They have now communicated with me through a letter. I received my original passport back.

IRS is still processing my ITIN (Individual Tax Identification Number)application.Wow...

Each year millions of individuals from different countries across the world apply to obtain ITIN and they get rejected very rarely.

I immediately laminated the personal letter I received from IRS and had put in a white envelope to keep for my reference and records.

Actually my ITIN application wasn't rejected but since I don't understand spoken American English, I made a little mistake...
