The song that keeps my morale...Dare sung by Stan Bush for the cartoon movie of 1986, Transformers: The movie
And there's nowhere to turn
You wonder how you keep going
Think of all the things that really mattered
And the chances you've earned
The fire in your heart is growing
You can fly, if you try leaving the past behind
Heaven only knows what you might find
Dare - dare to believe you can survive
You hold the future in your hand
Dare - dare to keep all of your dreams alive
It's time to take a stand
And you can win, if you dare
Everybody's trying to break your spirit
Keeping you down
Seems like it's been forever
But there's another voice if you'll just hear it
Saying it's the last round
Looks like it's now or never
Out of the darkness you stumble into the light
Fighting for the things you know are right
Dare - dare to believe you can survive
The power is there at your command
Dare - dare to keep all of your dreams alive
It's time to take a stand
And you can win, if you dare
Dare - dare to believe you can survive
You hold the future in your hand
Dare - dare to keep all of your dreams alive
The power is there at your command
Dare - dare to keep all your love alive
Dare to be all you can be
Dare - 'cause there is a place where dreams survive
And it's calling you on to victory

Speaking of microprocessors…
The world’s first microprocessor was fabricated by Intel in 1971…Other companies like AMD cloned this processor and it debuted in early video games and small control systems…Compilers were written using the instruction set of this processor but one should note that it is only a 4 bit processor…
Motorola and Texas Instruments also introduced their own processors around this time…Around 1983 Intel introduced the 80286 processor and in 1986 released the 80386 processor…These chips were used mainly on Microsoft Windows based systems…In 1993 the Pentium was released by Intel…The processor’s name Pentium became a household term…
In 1996 Advanced Micro Devices changed it’s direction in cloning Intel chips and started to make their own Windows compatible x86 processors…The instruction set was the same as the Intel line up…
In 2000 AMD shocked the World and Intel by releasing the Athlon processor with a clock speed of 1 GHz…However Intel overtook AMD in terms of clock speed…The release of Pentium 4 processor by Intel in 2000 started a fierce competition between the two companies…
All this time Apple was using Motorola and IBM fabricated processors called PowerPC…It is Reduced Instruction Set Computer ( RISC ) processor…IBM was fabricating their own processors called POWER and made the first innovative dual core processor with the release of the POWER4 processor in 2002…Sun Microsystems with Texas Instruments and AMD and Intel soon began shifting their architectures to multi core processor technology…
Intel from 2005 began to restructure the company and shortened the chip release lifecycle from 4 years to every 2 years…The latest released called Core i7 , Core i5, and Core i3 has over performed substantially against AMD’s Phenom II line up…
By their very nature, processors are heat emanating and power hungry chips…Almost all the companies are shifting their focus to low power but high performance chips and to achieve this the clock speed should have to be reduced in most cases…IBM using a combination of 65 and 45 nano meter technology solved this problem and in their POWER6 processors the clock speeds achieved a remarkable 6 GHz…
Well that’s it for now…Cheers…

Last night I started to use Google’s Adwords service…
Last night which is really part of today I have paid and taken google’s adwords…Adwords is google’s main source of revenue generating billions of dollars of revenue to google…
I paid USD 10 ( 5 USD for activation and 5 USD for my bid for one month )…Most web developers ( almost all ) in Maldives don’t use this service because they have to pay…But they are not aware that how cheap it could be ( or how expensive it could be if they decided to bid more )…
There is no minimum limit to paying for google’s adwords service…I am paying only 0.16 USD per day for my advertisement in google search which sums to only 5 USD per month…
So why don’t you use the service…Here is the link: http://adwords.google.com
Aren’t you impressed about my conduct…WHAT A BOAST!!!
Cheers

How to connect your hotmail, MSN mail, or live mail in Outlook…
This is very easy…But one should note that hotmail, msn mail and live mail is web based…But Microsoft offers outlook connector which can be downloaded on this link: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=9A2279B1-DF0A-46E1-AA93-7D4870871ECF&displaylang=en
The outlook connector enables you to read any type of Windows Live Mail for free…But it requires Outlook 2003 or 2007 in the current version of outlook connector…Also the license to use tells the user should use genuine Microsoft Office but forget this as we are third world country: Maldives.
How to know whether your e-mails are read…
Well there are hacks on the internet which you can use to find out whether your e-mail’s sent are read by the recipient…But at the time of this blog post none of the famous web e-mails like hotmail, gmail, and yahoo mail offers read reports…
A very simple way of knowing whether your e-mail is read is to use www.readnotify.com service…A trial period is offered where you can send 25 e-mails and than you have to buy a package…I have used the service for sometime but I don’t care much whether my e-mail is read or not…
The service is very simple to use…
