Google Maps is better than Bing Maps and Yahoo Maps...Just now saw the map of Male' first time in Yahoo Maps and Bing Maps!!!

Google started their map service as Google Local in 2005...It was one of the first web sites to use Ajax ( the ability to refresh parts of a web page at desktop speed )...I first visited Google Maps in 18 or 19 January 2010...I have heard mention of it on the internet and some books but never visited it...Google Maps now appears in the Google search page...

I just now for the first time searched and saw our island city of Male' in Yahoo Maps for the first time...It is at http://maps.yahoo.com It also shows satellite pics...Microsoft's Bing Maps also now shows Male'...But both of these services are late comers when showing the maps of Maldives...Bing Maps is at http://www.bing.com/maps/.

Google Maps is better than all these other map services as it is more frequently updated. Google Maps is at http://maps.google.com  and their map maker service is at http://maps.google.com/mapmaker . I have contributed to Google Maps by adding three roads in late 2010...The roads had been approved by the moderators in due course and are now showing in Google Maps....So what is your opinion?

Just now gave a like in facebook for the pages of my first employers...

The facebook pages of the Maldives National Defense Force and Maldives Police Service...I gave a like a while ago...I worked in the National Security Service ( which was the former name of MNDF ) and I was in the Police Headquarters section ( the old Maldives Police Service )...It was 1995 to 1997...phew...!!!

Just now sent my first Gmail SMS...

I sent it to my own mobile phone..I saw it in Google...I think today is the first day it was advertised on the Google search page....HOORAY...alhamdhu lilaahi rabil aalameen!!!
